WEDDING DANCE WORKSHOP

For your first dance and every dance thereafter.
Designed for couples preparing for their wedding, however all couples (including parents, Bridal parties or couples just wanting to learn how to dance) are welcome to join in. Couples will learn versatile, basic steps that can be used in Rumba, Waltz and Country/Western Two-Step, a few turns and a very easy dip. We will show you how to work with your dance space and move comfortable across the floor. You’ll leave with the confidence to let go of your fears and create a dance to remember! Private Lessons
Private lessons for an individual or couple, in any of the dance styles provided, are available by appointment.
Private lessons cost is $75.00 per hour for an individual or couple. Most private lessons are available on Wednesday evening or Saturday. Pre-registration requested by emailing vickypenn@gmail.com or calling 903-361-7278.
Your wedding dance
Wedding lessons can be scheduled at your church, reception hall, or other convenient location if it is approved by your location. Contact us before scheduling for information.
Let me know your song ahead of time so that I can make recommendations as to the style of dance – not all songs coordinate with all dances. I suggest you email me this information before scheduling your lessons.
Our suggestions:
BRIDE AND GROOM - package of four one-hour private lessons in the dance style of your choice. Learn to lead and follow, and the basic steps to float gracefully across the dance floor for your first dance. Bride and groom only. This is not a personally choreographed dance. Cost is $250 for the 4-lesson bride and groom package.

WEDDING PARTY - package of four one-hour private lessons in the dance style of your choice. Learn to lead and follow, and the basic steps to float gracefully across the dance floor for your first dance. This includes the bride and groom, and all bridesmaids and groomsmen. This is not a personally choreographed dance. Cost is $525 for the 4-lesson wedding party package.

CHOREOGRAPHED – this one is more intensive, and also requires more pre-planning on the part of the bride and groom. I need at least one month before lessons begin to listen to your music and choreograph a ballroom wedding dance unique for the couple. You receive eight private one-hour lessons to teach you how to lead and follow, the basic steps, and the particular choreography for your wedding ballroom dance.
Lead time – three months: up to two months (one lesson per week for eight weeks) for learning the dance, plus another month for me to choreograph your routine to your song. You may also take two lessons per week (one Wednesday, one Saturday) to shorten your lesson time to one month.
Choreographed, Bride and groom only – $600
Choreographed, Wedding party – $900
