Building strength can help prevent diseases such as osteoarthritis in the future. Our muscles help to support our joints so having strong muscles keeps joints in good condition. This is where regular exercise is essential as it builds muscle and boosts core strength.
Aim for at least two-and-a-half hours a week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity such as cycling or fast walking. One of the best ways to improve core strength (and most fun!) is to take up Zumba. It’s great for building core muscles.
